Keeping the tradition alive, this year too we celebrated GIS Day at GIS Center, PUCIT (Punjab University College of Information Technology), University of the Punjab. Apart from the GIS introduction presentations, GIS Quiz competition, and guests from Palmchip (related to Telecom GIS), what made this event stand out from previous events was the GIS presentations by our chief guests from CSIRO (i.e., Dr. Waqar and Dr. Riasat) and the final year GIS projects presentations by the senior batches. Last but not least, the various GIS-related "Hand Made" charts made by the students were charming and showed their inner inspirations towards GIS. See photos.
