GIS Day was celebrated on Wednesday 18 November 10 - 12:00 at the Department of Geography, University of Bergen. The activity was organized as a small seminar with four invited speakers from different fields of research who presented the use of GIS in their projects. A total of 30 participants took part in the event, both GIS beginners and newcomers. During the break a short GIS quiz was arranged, and happy winners were rewarded with a GIS Day t-shirt, pin, and cap. See photos.
