After a successful event last year, we at CyberTech Systems and Software Ltd, Mumbai, India, celebrated our second GIS Day on the trot!! November 14 also happens to be Children's Day in India. Hence, we visited our neighborhood Child Day Care Centre, Aasara, with some school atlas books and wall maps. The children got excited looking at all the shapes, colors, and pictures. We made them understand the purpose of maps and how they are made. At office, everyone was sporting a GIS Day badge and we had also organized an online GeoGrid Puzzle on our intranet website. Surprisingly, the winner was from the Human Resource Department! And of course, we had [four] GIS Day cakes for all. See photos.
