With eight volunteers we were able to meet 1001 students from fourth grade through junior college. The fourth graders loved the GIS Journey. In fact, one student even asked whether GISA was a real person! The older students benefitted from the 2007 Promo Video and the PowerPoint slides on how GIS is used in various industries. All of the students were very enthusiastic about our demonstrations of the Mississippi Geospatial Clearinghouse. See photos.
