Carrie Wiley

Carrie Wiley currently works for Los Angeles County Department of Public Works, Information Technology Division, GIS Unit. She serves as project manager and technical lead in large-scale GIS applications and performs application development that integrates GIS, existing engineering systems, and enterprise databases that support the business processes of the Department's engineering divisions. She is also involved in various committees including the Los Angeles County Enterprise GIS Steering Committee and Mobile Strategy Sub-Committee, the eGIS Mobile American Public Works Association (APWA) GIS Conference Committee, and also helped plan LA County's GIS Day last November. She has a BSc in Civil Engineering from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology and is currently completing an MSc in Geoinformatics from KTH, Royal Institute of Technology. Carrie will help plan the 6th Annual GIS Day for LA County that is designed for County residents, government employees, and students to show how county and city governments use GIS.
