How To Decorate These Shortbread Cookies

The small cookies were about 1.5", and the bigger ones were 6-7" across. As for the icing I "think" it was egg white and icing sugar, and just some colouring. My mother helped with the baking side of things; I was on my own for the decorating. I covered each one in blue then let it dry before adding the green by a tiny kid's paintbrush. It took me about 4 hours decorating time I think it was.... enough time to prevent me so far from doing it again. It was a lot of fun though, and two pounds of butter later, a little artery clogging too!
