Several folks in the department brought their wee-ones by to participate in the fun!
Ashton M. Kilgore (2 Years), and mother Belinda J. Kilgore came by to show their support for John M. Kilgore, Director, GIS Department. While Ashton did give "Papa" lots of hugs, he seemed to prefer his own shirt. I know it seems like I am the Super GIS Day Freak, but honestly, John is the heart and soul of GIS Day here in Forsyth County. I mean, how lucky am I to be able to go up to my boss and demand he buy me a 6 ft. inflatable globe *and* tell him to show up early to help me inflate it and for him to say "ok." without even pulling a face!

John Kilgore with grandson Ashton Kilgore.One of my favorite moments of GIS Day was when Jihoon and Jaemeen Son brought the newest addition to our department, their two (2) month old daughter Kaylin, in to participate in the fun! Kaylin was super sweet and gave me all sorts of "Baby Love Therapy" in the middle of a crazy GIS Day! Kaylin is the daughter of our own Jihoon Son, GIS Specialist, who works tirelessly with our Planning Department.
